DC Things

In the almost 20 years I've lived in the Washington DC area, I've never really explored DC as much I did until I lived into the city. In those five months before moving out to Los Angeles, I visited museums I once dreaded visiting for school field trips when I was younger but now looked through every exhibit with a newfound sense of wonder and curiosity. I explored hiking trails behind my apartment complex with my dog, pretending we were out in the wild and discovering new places. Living in city has opened my eyes and allowed me to see things I once overlooked in a new perspective.
