Creative Learning - Aid to Artisans
In May 2013, I started working at Creative Learning/Aid to Artisans (ATA) as a Communications & Social Media intern. ATA is a division of Creative Learning that works to create economic opportunities for artisan groups around the world where livelihoods, communities, and craft traditions are at risk. As the Communications & Social Media intern, I was responsible for updating and maintaining the ATA website; designing and writing stories & interviews for the monthly newsletter, Aid to Artisans Connection; managing all social media accounts, designing promotional materials for fundraising events and email marketing campaign for the Market Readiness Program on Constant Contact.
After four months working as an intern, I was promoted to Communications & Social Media consultant, which expanded my scope of work to support Creative Learning and its other divisions: America's Unofficial Ambassadors, and Human Rights & Advocacy, in addition to my duties for ATA.
